PROGRAM GUIDE

The Montpelier Parks & Recreation Department offers several activities during the summer.  Tot Ball, Soccer, Safety Town, Arts & Crafts, Jr. Gardeners, Free Lunch for Youth, and the Free Outdoor Summer Movie Series, just to name a few.

Information about all of the activities may be found in our Program Guide.

Copies of the Program Guide will be distributed to all K-6 students in the Montpelier Exempted Village School the first week in May.  Extra copies may be picked up at the Montpelier Utility Office or the Montpelier Public Library after May 10th.

A PDF version of the Program Guide is also available here.

We are no longer taking registrations for any of our summer programs.  Thank you for your interest!

If you have any questions please call the Recreation Office at 419-485-3496.

SUMMER MOVIE SERIES

Don't forget to check out our FREE outdoor summer movie series!

All movies are held at the Park Shelterhouse.

Pop, popcorn, & candy will be available for sale during the movies.

Feel free to bring a blanket/chair and enjoy the shows.

Movies made possible due to donations from the Montpelier Eagles to the Friends of the Montpelier Parks, Inc.  THANK YOU!

Check back in 2012!

PLEASE NOTE: All movies are PG due to language or adventure violence.  Please preview any movies you are unsure of before attending the outdoor movie series with younger children.

 SCHEDULES

PLEASE NOTE: These schedules may be subject to change due to weather or other factors.

WALKING DIRECTORY

The Municipal Park is a great place to get some exercise.  Kids will love playing on the playground while adults can take advantage of the walking paths in and around the park.

Check our our Walking Challange below!

A few years ago, the Williams County Heart Health Coalition created a Walking Directory that includes the mileage for walking paths around Montpelier, including the Municipal Park.

You may click on the image below to print the directory.

Pages may be printed out all at once or individually to create a booklet
(print pages 1/2, 3/4, & 5/6 -- you'll have to flip page 1 over to print page 2 and so on).

WALKING CHALLENGE
Print off the Walking Directory and keep track of your miles from
Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Turn in your filled-in Walking Directory at Town Hall before September 15th.

Top 3 walkers with the most miles will win prizes!
